The Founder of the Academy in Brief


Hassan Abu Shadi Al-Hasani Al-Sharif is a writer and lecturer in Quranic sciences, a researcher in the fields of chains of transmission (isnād) and biographies of narrators (rijāl), an entrepreneur with an interest in history, archaeology, and Arabic calligraphy…
He was born in the Old Cairo neighborhood of Cairo Governorate in 1990, memorized the Quran, and perfected its recitation under the tutelage of several scholars, including Sheikh Hisham Abdel Gawad, Sheikh Hajaj Youssef, and Sheikh Reda Hashad.
He enrolled in the Faculty of Engineering at Cairo University, specializing in Petroleum and Mining Engineering, graduating in 2013. During his studies, he supervised the Quranic competitions held by the college on Department Day and was honored by the Dean of the College with the Shield of Excellence and a Certificate of Appreciation in 2012.
He obtained numerous scientific certifications and specialized courses in various engineering fields during and after his studies, as well as in the field of health and occupational safety from the OSHAcademy in the United States.
After completing his military service, he worked as an engineer with the General Petroleum Authority at Sino Tharwa Company for Drilling. After three years in the drilling field, he resigned to dedicate himself to field and Quranic work.
He served as an executive director of Life Start Training and Development Company, where he established branches for teaching English language and Quranic Arabic to non-Arabic speakers.
He founded Family Picnics Tourism Company in Egypt in 2018, focusing on educational and scientific tourism. The company has organized over a hundred scientific exploration trips within Egypt alone.
He joined the Faculty of Archaeology at Cairo University for postgraduate studies, obtaining a diploma in Islamic archaeology with distinction, ranking first in his class in 2021. He then pursued a master’s degree, receiving distinction, and began preparing his thesis on the early Quranic manuscripts: a comparative archaeological and artistic study.
He founded Hassan Abu Shadi Company for Capacity Development, specializing in research, training, and publishing. He later separated the training department into a new company, renaming the original company Hassan Abu Shadi Research and Publishing House, specializing in publishing, distribution, and translation. Among its notable works are “Tuhfat al-Ajawid fi Fann al-Tajwid,” “Basair Hawl Suwar al-Quran,” and “Matn Ghayat al-Ghayat Sharh al-Tayyibah fi Abiyat,” among others.
He established Jadair Company for Scientific Studies, specializing in Quranic and Arabic studies. The company received the highest Egyptian accreditation and approval from the President of the Republic in Decision No. 351 of 2012, License No: NQI T 347/384. The National Institute for Quality nominated it for ISO international certification upon its accreditation in Egypt, and it was officially qualified to receive ISO 21001:2018 certification for quality in education and the development and management of large educational institutions.
He acquired knowledge of Quran and its sciences with continuous oral authorization from a collection of prominent Quranic scholars, including Sheikh Muhammad Ahmed Al-Munshid, Sheikh Abdel Fattah Al-Muqalledi, Sheikh Muhammad Mohammedi Salam, Sheikh Abdel Fattah Madkur Beyoumi (may God have mercy on them), and others.
He received religious and Arabic sciences, being authorized and knowledgeable in narration from several eminent scholars, including Sheikh Muhammad Zaki Al-Din Abu Al-Qasim Al-Hijazi (may God have mercy on him), Sheikh Ali bin Muhammad Tawfiq Al-Nahhas, and Sheikh Dr. Nadi Haddad Al-Qatt, among others.
He learned the art of performance, accompaniment, and melodic recitation of Quranic verses through the study of the original and subsidiary sound modes with masters of this art, including the expert in the science of melody, Mr. Ahmed Mustafa Kamel (may God have mercy on him), the reciter Mr. Anas Hijazi Al-Halabi, and the Egyptian radio reciter Sheikh Youssef Qasim Halawa.
He learned Arabic calligraphy, principles of drawing, and ornamentation by studying the six Arabic scripts and mastering them over two continuous years under the calligrapher Mr. Mohsen Atiya, a student of the masters Khedr Al-Borsaidi, and Mohamed Hammam, among others in the field of Arabic calligraphy.
He supervised the verification and publication of over thirty thousand Quranic and Hadith authorizations since 2007 through his management of the Hassan Abu Shadi Center for Verification and Publication of Authorizations.
He has served as the head of the Chains of Transmission and Quranic Authorizations Department at Al-Ma’saraoui Centers since 2014.
He has trained and graduated over three thousand Quran teachers in the past ten years through qualification and teacher training courses, which are globally distinguished by the requirement for each trainee to individually present the entire curriculum to experts for evaluation of comprehension depth, presentation skills, and performance accuracy, thus completing the pillars of Quranic teaching.
He developed the Five Mastery Programs for memorizing, mastering, pondering, and cementing the Quran and its authorization, distinguishing Jadair Academy from other educational and Quranic recitation centers worldwide, which have graduated hundreds of the finest and most skilled memorizers authorized with the connected chain of transmission to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) worldwide.
